About The Position

Join the team at the front line! The Junior Equipment Operator position gives the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment at the front line of production. This position is crucial in keeping production running. Responsible for providing production with materials to run jobs, as well as creating inventory for the facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma /GED
6 months of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to adapt to changing production demands and schedules.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed to support production requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Successfully complete required forklift certification and always maintain safe operating practices.
Maintain continuous communication with Production personnel to ensure timely material replenishment and support production requirements.
Deliver components and packaging supplies to production lines as needed.
Remove finished goods from production equipment and transport completed pallets to designated storage locations.
Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners and other inventory management systems to ensure accurate inventory records.
Create and maintain inventory for completed production pallets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Perform other duties assigned to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.
