About The Position

Peregrine Advisors is a data and technology innovation hub and a Benefit Corporation working at the center of the federal government's mission to deliver for client stakeholders and the US public. They are looking for highly motivated contributors who thrive when trusted to own a hard problem and equipped to deliver the solution. The role involves contributing to the refinement and execution of user stories by building AWS cloud-native, event-driven serverless application workflows using Lambda and Step Functions; integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products with broader, internally developed system frameworks; developing internal or external API interconnections to facilitate modern system architectures; or building the data and document pipelines that turn manual, paper-heavy processes into something automatic. The company emphasizes adaptability and an appetite for learning new concepts, systems, and tools. The work is described as real, hard, and important, with opportunities to grow as you demonstrate capability. Modern, cloud-native systems will be built, providing business value through streamlined, automated operation. This includes working, tested code, code reviews, and learning AI-assisted development tools like Amazon Q Developer. There are opportunities to contribute to new capabilities, tools, and lines of business within the firm.
