About The Position
The Jr Designer position will assist in the structural and graphical design of paper packaging and displays. This role will support the sales group, production and customer service by supplying the needed items from the design department. This role will be responsible for providing designs that can be produced in our manufacturing facility. This role must have an understanding of packaging and the needs of the customer.
Requirements
- Good skill set in problem solving.
- Understanding of technical drawings from engineering groups and customers.
- High skill level in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Understanding of color as it is used in commercial printing, traps, bleeds, and process.
- Understanding of complex layered art files.
- Understanding of prepress software such as Fiery.
Nice To Haves
- Certified ESKO Artios CAD user is preferred.
