About The Position

As a Jr. Business & Technology Analyst - Software Developer, you will join our JBATA program and Agile development team to help build next-generation financial applications. In this role, you will assist in designing, coding, and maintaining software features and infrastructure that meet Axos’ high standards for security, performance, and compliance. You will collaborate with senior developers and architects, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to creating resilient microservices, REST APIs, and integrations for our banking systems. This position offers hands-on experience with modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, while working in a dynamic environment that values learning, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Applied Math, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years working experience in a Software Development role.
• Coursework or projects involving Java, Spring Boot, or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software features and related infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with team members on specifications, coding standards, and code reviews.
• Help troubleshoot technical issues during development and testing.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements.
• Work during US Mountain Time (MST) hours and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
