About The Position

Support the Global Markets business and work closely in partnership with Capital Markets businesses and Functions to achieve strategic objectives. This role will support cross-Global Markets initiatives including governance, strategy implementation, performance management, messaging, new business development, and technology/operational matters. Act as a regional Business Manager supporting U.S. trade floor initiatives and serving as a liaison between Front Office, senior GM leadership, and functional teams (Technology, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Legal). The role will also represent the business in regulatory and firm-wide projects, develop key business and financial metrics to drive GM efficiency, and analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Business Manager will coordinate with functional groups to solve business problems and develop recommendations, and proactively identify and escalate operational risks and control deficiencies to management and relevant control functions.

Requirements

  • Problem Solver & Analytical Ability
  • Ability to work and communicate with varying levels of seniority / strong personalities
  • 1-3 years of Capital Markets experience
  • 1-3 years working experience in Front Office, Operations, Finance/ Product Control, Technology or Consulting strongly preferred
  • Strong interest in markets and technical skills with Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Strong team player that can work with resources across the organization
  • Success in this role depends on being able to handle criticism and feedback constructively
  • Basic Knowledge of the Global Markets business – particularly Fixed Income products (Securitization, Alternative Finance, Credit, Municipals, Rates, FX, Commodities and Futures)
