For the Jr. Business Development Coordinator role at S+G, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven entry-level candidate eager to build a career in business development. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and excited to learn the fundamentals of sales and client relations within a fast-paced digital marketing agency. Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience in a sales, business development, marketing, or administrative support role — internship or co-op experience counts!
  • A genuine interest in business development, client relations, and the digital marketing industry.
  • A collaborative team player who is also comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
  • A positive attitude toward both client-facing and internal team responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment with a continued emphasis on project detail.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour and the ability to clearly deliver rationale for strategic approaches.
  • The ability to accept constructive feedback and apply changes where required.
  • Critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop unique approaches to problems and projects.
  • Takes initiative in leveraging continuous learning and resources to keep ahead of industry trends.
  • Must be eligible to work full-time in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and a genuine curiosity about applying them to workflows
  • Co-op experience or hands-on experience in marketing (social media, paid search, paid social, or SEO)
  • Task management/Gantt chart software (e.g. Clickup, Asana, Monday.com)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Growth team in executing lead generation strategies through outbound activities including research, LinkedIn outreach, and email prospecting
  • Assist with nurturing inbound leads by coordinating follow-up communications, scheduling discovery calls, and preparing meeting briefs for senior team members.
  • Help coordinate and compile RFP responses and proposals, ensuring materials are organized, on-brand, and submitted on time.
  • Support the writing and formatting of client proposals and pitch decks, helping to craft compelling narratives that communicate our agency's strengths and service offerings.
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate lead, prospect, and client data to support pipeline visibility across the team.
  • Build familiarity with our client base and service offerings to help identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with the Growth team.
  • Support the leadership team in planning and executing internal culture initiatives, team events, and monthly socials.
  • Contribute to office administration tasks such as managing shared calendars, coordinating team logistics, and keeping internal resources organized.
  • Stay curious about industry trends, our competitive landscape, and digital marketing innovations to support strategic conversations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the leadership and growth team as needed.
