•$40 - $55•Remote

About The Position

The Jr. Business Analyst is a Kaizen consultant assigned to client engagements as part of a client’s Enterprise Data team. Working with Kaizen and client colleagues—including business stakeholders, data engineers, BI developers, and product owners—the analyst translates business needs into requirements, documents and improves analytical processes, and organizes development work in Jira. The analyst reports to a Kaizen engagement lead and receives direction from senior Kaizen analysts and leads. Over time, the role takes ownership of requirements for defined workstreams and becomes a trusted contact for client stakeholders. The role supports requirements and backlog management, process analysis and documentation, data and analytics solutions, core business analysis artifacts, user acceptance testing, sprint and roadmap planning, and client engagement. It involves learning client data landscapes, documenting data definitions and mappings, writing basic SQL, and reviewing, troubleshooting, or building basic Power BI reports and DAX measures. The analyst also creates low-fidelity wireframes and supports delivery teams with requirements, test cases, and defect tracking.
