About The Position

HighPoint professionals focus on helping government agencies and companies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Jr. Analyst contributes to HighPoint by monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and technical assistance support to help ensure the effective administration and oversight of DCDDP grant programs.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of program monitoring, performance measurement, data analysis, and grants management principles.
  • Ability to collect, review, organize, and analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic experience with data reporting, dashboards, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, summaries, training materials, and correspondence.
  • Ability to learn and apply federal reporting requirements, compliance standards, and grants management processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Customer service mindset and ability to provide technical assistance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with program staff, grant recipients, and system users.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of monitoring tools, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to support oversight of DCDDP grant programs.
  • Review, validate, organize, and analyze program and performance data to support compliance monitoring, reporting, and program improvement activities.
  • Prepare performance summaries, data reports, trend analyses, and visualizations using information from Performance Progress Reports (PPRs) and other program submissions.
  • Support annual grant portfolio reviews by compiling and organizing performance and compliance data to help identify potential risks and areas requiring additional monitoring.
  • Provide technical assistance to grant recipients on reporting requirements, data collection processes, and the use of systems such as GrantSolutions, OLDC, and other approved reporting platforms.
  • Develop and update training materials, job aids, webinars, and guidance documents that support reporting compliance and data quality.
  • Monitor reporting deadlines, track submission status, and assist with recipient communications related to reporting requirements.
  • Support data collection and evaluation activities by assisting with the development of questionnaires, surveys, and documentation required for OMB and PRA clearance processes.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and external system providers to address user questions, support system updates, and improve reporting and operational processes.
  • Assist in preparing reports, briefing materials, presentations, and other communications that support leadership decision-making and stakeholder reporting.
