Responsibilities

  • Triage Shop Floor Issues: Troubleshoot day-to-day transactional, network, and data flow failures between the MES layer and SAP PP/EWM.

  • Device Troubleshooting: Resolve data entry errors coming from RF mobile scanners, plant floor terminals, and automated labeling systems.
  • SLA Compliance: Document, track, and close entry-level support incidents using service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) within required deadlines.
  • Test Case Development: Write clear, step-by-step test scripts for minor SAP/MES system enhancements, bug fixes, and patch releases.
  • Testing Execution: Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing to verify that warehouse movements successfully trigger MES events.
  • UAT Support: Coordinate with shop floor power-users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and log configuration defects.
  • Master Data Validation: Review and update fundamental master data setups, including SAP storage bins, production versions, BOMs, and MES routing configurations.
