Requirements

Ability to complete Electrical Apprenticeship through the State of Michigan
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability working in a team environment and fostering good relationships.
Excellent listening skills.
Open minded and adaptable regarding type of work being performed.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Strong math skills.
Ability to read and work from blueprints.
Demonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines.
History of good attendance.
High School Diploma required.
Willingness to work overtime.
Must be able to work weekends.
Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
Working from ladders, lifts, heavy lifting, and own transportation are necessary and essential functions of the job.
Individual must be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators possibly for long periods of time and be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions.

Certificate of completion as an Electrical Journey Worker, licensed with the State of Michigan

Responsibilities

Perform Planned, Project and Emergency repairs of Production and Facility Equipment.
Complete general work orders in SAP.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
Interface with other technicians, contractors, and engineers across 3 shifts in a team environment.
Preassemble equipment for upcoming projects (such as building electrical panels).
Order parts and adhere to a timeline for work completion.
Mentor apprentices.
