About The Position

Journeyperson Technicians are responsible for performing onsite installations, service, and repairs in residential homes. They ensure customers' heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority's codes and municipal building codes and standards. Technicians will follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures, educate customers on proper care and maintenance, and promote various HVAC options. They will also complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections, maintain a clean and fully stocked vehicle, promote products and services on every call, and provide a five-star experience. Technicians should feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers and contribute to high standards of health and safety. This role requires a minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, and water heaters including tankless heaters. The technician must be comfortable working from heights and using a ladder, possess strong technical and customer service skills, and be effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments. An accountable and responsible personality with a positive, can-do attitude is essential. The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements, is also required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters
  • Valid Gas Fitter Two License
  • Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal)
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Clear criminal record
  • Demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
  • Effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
  • Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
  • An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment

Responsibilities
