The Opportunity As a Journeyperson Plumber with DNM Plumbing & Heating, you'll work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and mechanical projects throughout the Algoma District. From new installations and renovations to service calls and troubleshooting, you'll be trusted to deliver exceptional workmanship while representing a company known for quality and reliability. Requirements

  • Certificate of Qualification (306A Plumber)
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installations, and service work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
  • Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's License with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydronic heating systems
  • Gas Technician certification considered an asset
  • Experience mentoring apprentices and supporting team development

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and accurately
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Complete service work and project installations to a high standard of quality
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and job records
  • Support and mentor apprentices when required
  • Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team environment
