We're currently hiring a Journeyperson Pipefitter for a permanent position in Cold Lake, AB, starting July 29th, 2026. Enjoy a Wednesday to Tuesday schedule with 12-hour days, camp accommodation provided, travel pay and benefits after 300 hours worked. Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
  • Experience working on Plant Maintenance projects.
  • Experience with Hydro Testing Set-ups.
  • Able to use standard tools of trade.
  • Able to work with welders to fit/tack piping & rigging.
  • Prior Confined Space Entry experience.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry.
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Responsibilities

  • Install pipes, fittings, and valves.
  • Perform plant maintenance projects.
  • Set up for hydro testing.
  • Use standard tools of the trade.
  • Work with welders to fit/tack piping.
  • Perform rigging.
