About The Position

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Pipefitters for the Empress, Alberta Turnaround project. This temporary position involves a scope of work including piling, removal and replacement of equipment, installation of structural steel and piping, welding, rigging, and general material handling. The role operates on a continuous rotation with 8-hour regular time and 2-hour overtime workdays. Additional daily travel pay is provided for bus transportation, and mobilization/demobilization is offered for workers residing 125+ km from the site. A daily living out allowance (LOA) is available for non-locals.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate
• Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred
• CSTS 2020 or CSTS 09
• WHMIS
• H2S Alive
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
• Must have your own reliable transportation to the site
• Completion of drug and alcohol testing
