About The Position

Kiewit is currently seeking experienced Journeyperson Ironworkers for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The Path2Zero project is a major clean energy initiative supporting the decarbonization of industrial operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Upon its completion in 2028, the facility will be Canada’s largest clean hydrogen production site and among the largest globally.

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Journeyperson (JM) Structural Ironworker Ticket
  • Possession of a valid Fall Protection Ticket
  • Possession of a valid Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Ticket
  • Minimum 5 years’ working on Industrial Sites

Responsibilities

  • Rigging
  • Crane signaling
  • Connecting structural steel
  • Bolt tensioning

Benefits

  • Base wage: $52.00 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
  • Nightshift: $3.00 per hour premium if working nights
  • ITC Premium: $2.50 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week)
  • Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
  • Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
