About The Position
The Co-op Refinery Complex is hiring an Instrumentation Technician on a full time permanent basis. This role requires onsite work located in Regina, SK. If you are an experienced Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician looking for your next career, this is an opportunity to work for one of Canada’s largest integrated refining and upgrading complexes! This is a unionized role that resides with UNIFOR Canada Local 594 offering $66.94 per hour. As a union member, you would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement.
Requirements
- Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician level qualification.
- Minimum of four years’ experience directly related to the required duties of the trade at the Complex.
Nice To Haves
- A good working knowledge of refinery operations and practices.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate electronic and pneumatic instruments.
- Repair and maintain control valves and regulators.
- Conduct DCS loop tuning.
- Collaborate with Operations and troubleshoot process problems.
- Confirm control logics with the DCS.
