About The Position

Canoco Energy Services is seeking experienced Journeyperson Electricians to join our team in Edmonton, Calgary, and surrounding areas ASAP. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting a variety of industrial and commercial electrical activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work and contribute positively to project teams.

Requirements

Journeyperson Electrician Certification required
Valid CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 required
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Industrial, commercial, or construction electrical experience
Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform (AWP), Confined Space, and OSSA certifications
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract

Responsibilities

Perform electrical work safely and efficiently in accordance with company and site requirements
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and work instructions
Install cable tray, conduit, wiring, lighting, and electrical components
Assist with equipment installations, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments
Complete required documentation and reporting when necessary
