SMS Equipment is looking for a Journeyperson Electrician residing in the Acheson area. Requirements

Journeyperson Electrician certification with red seal.
Minimum of 3 years of mining experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and OEM drawings and electrical code specifications.
Proven ability to follow and maintain workplace health and safety practices.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Komatsu AC Electric Drive Haul Trucks and other mining equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair haul trucks, shovels, and other mining equipment.
Support component repair/rebuild, equipment assembly, and maintenance activities.
Install new parts and electrical systems following industry standards and site-specific practices.
Perform component failure analysis to identify root causes and improve performance.
Collaborate with customers and other tradespeople to resolve technical issues efficiently.
