About The Position
Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher Journeyperson and Foreman for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman (JM) Concrete Finisher Ticket or equivalent hours
- Minimum of five years of experience in industrial concrete construction
- Able to meet all physical requirements
- Must have all required tools
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Understanding of industrial concrete forming and forming systems
- Finishing wet and dry concrete
- Climbing and working at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Working overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
- Observing and complying with all safety and project rules
- Performing other duties as required
Benefits
- Base wage: $49.39 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
- ITC Premium: $1.18 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Night shift premium: $3.00 per hour if working nights
