About The Position

We’re hiring a skilled welder to support our manufacturing operations. You’ll work from prints and produce consistent, high-quality welds as part of an established production process. This is a structured shop environment where teamwork and communication keep things running smoothly. You’ll be expected to maintain quality standards and complete work efficiently and accurately. We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in doing things right the first time.

Requirements

  • Alberta Journeyman Welder certification
  • Minimum 2 years welding experience
  • Strong MIG and wire welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Physically able to perform hands-on industrial work

Nice To Haves

  • Production or manufacturing welding experience
  • Strong fabrication and fit-up skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior welders

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate components using MIG and wire welding processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment (GMAW, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene torch)
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and consistency
  • Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and workmanship
  • Support continuous improvement and shop efficiency
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Act as a role model for safety and production best practices
