About The Position

CSlope Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Web Developer to support a federal client within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and testing of enterprise web applications supporting mission-critical Navy logistics systems. This is a hands-on development position offering the opportunity to work in an Agile environment alongside senior technical leaders while supporting modernization efforts across enterprise systems. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in web development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data exchange
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
• Experience supporting testing activities, including writing and executing test cases
• Strong written communication skills and ability to contribute to technical documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience (additional years of experience in lieu of degree)

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal or DoD programs
• Familiarity with Section 508 and/or WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest)
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement web application features and modules based on technical designs and requirements
• Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support requirements gathering activities, including stakeholder collaboration and user story development
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and acceptance criteria
• Perform manual and automated testing, including regression testing and defect tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications
• Maintain code documentation and contribute to technical documentation deliverables
