About The Position

This role requires a safety-conscious individual with a good safety record and the ability to advocate for housekeeping and safety standards. The technician will perform the functions of an electro-mechanical technician, including the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all types of industrial equipment. This involves troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment using multiple PLCs, testing devices, and instruments traditionally used in electrical and pyrometric trades. Responsibilities include installing or repairing conduit, wiring, cable, electric motors, transformers, and other relevant electrical components, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. The role also involves safely and efficiently operating arc and MIG welders and gas torches for welding, soldering, brazing, and cutting, and fabricating parts from blueprints and sketches.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in relevant Field
Strong mechanical skills including pumps, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience

Nice To Haves

Schooling/Certifications in relevant field is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform the functions of an electro-mechanical technician including the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all types of industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment using multiple PLC, testing devices, and instruments traditionally used in electrical and pyrometric trades.
Install or repair conduit, wiring, cable, electric motors, transformers and all other relevant electrical components.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
Safely and efficiently operate arc and MIG welders and gas torches for welding, soldering, brazing and cutting.
Fabrication of parts from blueprints and sketches.
Take a Maintenance skills test (Tooling University)
Working knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word.
Must be able to effectively work with CMMS
Must be an excellent problem solver
Must be a team player
