As a Sheet Metal professional, you hold a pivotal role in the assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC systems. Requirements
- Competency in operating machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably 4+ years of experience as a Sheet Metal Journeyman.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing building plans and engineering drawings to effectively strategize installations.
- Operating soldering and welding equipment to proficiently connect sheet metal components.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized work environment while strictly following safety protocols.
- Collaborating with colleagues such as plumbers, welders, and HVAC technicians when required.
- Inspecting structures to detect obstacles and ensure correct ductwork placement.
- Constructing and fitting sheet metal ducts, fixtures, and supports using various tools.
- Conducting tests on duct systems to detect leaks by pressurizing them with air or smoke.
