About The Position

Master Rooter Plumbing in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a journeyman plumber with strong technical and mentoring skills to lead their team of apprentices. The role involves performing non-emergency and emergency plumbing services, including pumping, hydro jetting, and drain cleaning, often in challenging conditions. The company is open to relocating the right candidate to the Boise, Idaho area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington Journeyman plumbing license
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record, clean background and pass a drug test.
  • Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies
  • Hard-working and dedicated to exceptional customer service
  • Proven technical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as manage and inspire apprentices
  • Ability to read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • An Active Journeyman License is Required to be Considered.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with plumbing pumping, hydro jetting and drain cleaning.
  • Operate drain cleaning, hydro jetting and sewer camera equipment.
  • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day.
  • Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
  • Drives a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
