About The Position

Credence is hiring a Journeyman Security Services Support professional to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) F-16 division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The position supports security management and program protection across F-16 programs, including Foreign Military Sales and the Multi-National Fighter Program. The work covers information, personnel, industrial, physical, and system security, including classified and special access environments. The role supports program offices and government security leads by analyzing security procedures, identifying deficiencies and vulnerabilities, recommending corrective actions, and preparing security documentation. It also includes administrative support for secure facilities and programs, technical evaluations of information systems and electronic equipment, system security planning throughout the acquisition lifecycle, and domestic and overseas security evaluations and travel.

Requirements

Active or current Secret clearance verifiable in DISS; a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including three years in the DoD; alternatively, seven years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including five years in the DoD.
Recommend Level 1 certification through the DSS Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Program, or current DSS training related to information, personnel, industrial, and physical security programs.
Strong analytical writing skills to document program security methods and decisions.

Responsibilities

Support security management, analytical, technical, and administrative services for DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, and assigned programs.
Serve as a customer focal point for security; analyze procedures, identify deficiencies, and coordinate or recommend solutions with the government security task lead.
Support implementation of information, personnel, and industrial security programs to protect classified material in accordance with applicable policies and directives.
Assist with resource protection, force protection, and anti-terrorism program implementation.
Help personnel complete personnel security investigation paperwork, review packages for accuracy, and track security clearances.
Assist in developing security requirements for contracts and coordinate DD Form 254 documentation.
Support administration of Special Access Program Facilities and programs, including Program Access Requests, accreditation, and self-inspection programs.
Maintain, account for, and destroy COMSEC material.
Assist with technical evaluations of AIS and electronic equipment that stores or processes classified or SAR information; evaluate AIS Standard Practice Procedures and report vulnerabilities and compliance concerns.
Maintain appropriately classified databases of government and DoD personnel with access to SAR programs.
Perform security administrative duties, document program security methods and decisions, and support end-of-day safety and security checks.
Open, secure, and alarm secure rooms and vaults; respond to alarms outside duty hours when government personnel are unavailable.
Develop and document recommended program protection and system security input for acquisition and contracting documents, including SOOs, SOWs, PWSs, RFPs, and CDRLs.
Identify security issues and recommend policy or instruction changes to the government security lead.
Analyze procedures for handling, controlling, storing, and disposing of classified or critical weapon-system hardware and components.
Develop program-specific system security requirements and advise security working groups and other security-related IPTs, including preparing meeting minutes and documenting actions.
Assist with translating DoD and Air Force policy into design, test, and functional system security requirements; support system security assessments and SSCO development.
Plan, review, analyze, and report on tailored security plans for system testing and evaluation; recommend changes to security test procedures.
Review threats, conduct vulnerability and criticality analyses, define security requirements, and recommend physical, electronic, mechanical, and other cost-effective countermeasures.
Review conceptual studies, reports, system data, and other documentation to establish and continuously assess system security requirements and standards.
Support threat-based security planning throughout the weapon system lifecycle, from pre-Milestone A through demilitarization, and integrate export and technology-control requirements into program protection planning.
Support protection of CPI and related engineering and ATO processes, and assist with security procedures for CPI and critical components up to Top Secret, Special Access, and SCI.
Assist in creating and maintaining OPSEC programs and plans for protecting critical information.
Assess security trade studies and help integrate cost-effective security requirements into weapon system contracts.
Assist in developing and maintaining SCGs, Program Security Directives, Technology Assessment and Control Plans, and Program Protection Plans and annexes.
Assess prime contractor and subcontractor program protection planning and report areas of concern.
Conduct on-site security evaluations, review prime contractor security survey reports, and provide technical security recommendations.
Travel CONUS and OCONUS to support security requirements, including FMS customer site surveys and secure-storage evaluations.
Provide guidance related to NISPOM and DoD 5200.01 requirements for DTSA certification.
Support testing and analysis in classified program areas, including TS, Special Access, and SCI facilities; assess system vulnerabilities, tampering, and intrusion risks and recommend corrective action.
Provide security-related technical assistance to AFLCMC/WAM organizations, groups, and committees for briefings and conferences.
