The Journeyman will assess job sites, plan efficient layouts, and ensure the stability of scaffolding throughout the construction process. They will use various scaffolding materials to create temporary structures for workers at height and conduct thorough inspections to guarantee structural integrity and safety. The position requires working in compliance with OSHA standards, local building codes, and safety regulations, and may involve operating lifting equipment. Additionally, the Journeyman will provide guidance to junior scaffolders and apprentices, collaborate with project teams, maintain tools and equipment, perform quality checks, and adhere to project timelines. Keeping the work area clean, participating in safety meetings, and following safety protocols are also key responsibilities.
