About The Position

This role is for a Journeyman Plumber at LifeBridge Health. The position involves utilizing and operating plumbing equipment, identifying specialized components, requesting and procuring necessary materials, developing project schedules and scope of work, maintaining work areas and equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and documenting work activity electronically and in writing.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of commercial plumbing experience
• State of Maryland Journeyman Plumber license
• Full MD Driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilizes and operates power pipe threading and other plumbing equipment
• Identifies specialized equipment and components to be used in the alteration of plumbing/piping systems.
• Request appropriate materials, supplies, and equipment needed to perform assigned tasks and secures same from stock and/or procures required material.
• Develops project schedules, scope of work and project requirements
• Maintains work areas, equipment rooms, and tools so as to be operational, clean and orderly, per departmental guidelines.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as assigned and assists any higher departmental job classification as assigned.
• Documents work activity both by written means and electronically by use of the Computer Maintenance Management System, per departmental guidelines.
