About The Position

The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for supervising apprentices, ensuring the safe, timely, and code-compliant completion of projects. As the primary on-site contact, the Journeyman Plumber manages day-to-day operations, addresses customer inquiries, and coordinates closely with management. This role also involves overseeing material needs, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.
Physical capability to perform the essential duties of the job.
Strong verbal communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Valid Journeyman Plumber’s License (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise apprentices to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
Ensure all work is performed safely, meets code compliance, and is completed on schedule.
Act as the on-site liaison between the management and customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
Coordinate material needs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
Follow all company policies, including vehicle use and job site conduct.
Interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and wear PPE as needed.
Report hazards and follow safe work practices.
