About The Position
Walmart is hiring Journeyman Plumber Facilities Maintenance Technicians and Journeyman Electrician Facilities Maintenance Technicians in Texas. The plumber role installs, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs commercial plumbing systems in accordance with local and state codes. The electrician role performs major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures using multiple craft skills and following local and state codes. Both roles seek candidates with strong technical expertise, a solid work ethic, and proven experience in commercial environments. Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Two years of experience in the plumbing trade.
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in the state where the candidate will work.
- Two years of experience in the electrical trade.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in the state where the candidate will work.
- Strong technical expertise, a solid work ethic, and proven experience in a commercial plumbing or electrical environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial plumbing systems in accordance with local and state codes.
- Perform major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures using multiple craft skills and in accordance with local and state codes.
