About The Position
Skillforce is hiring a Journey-level Pipefitter for ongoing underground infrastructure work on an active tunnel project in Virginia Beach. This is a long-term position requiring journeyman-level mechanical pipe skills. A drug screen and background check are required for all applicants.
Requirements
- Journey-level pipefitting or plumbing experience
- Commercial or heavy construction background
- Comfort working in underground environments
- Must pass drug screen and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Install pipe per project drawings and specs
- Work in underground and enclosed environments
- Rough-in and finish plumbing as assigned
- Test and inspect pipe before handoff
- Coordinate with foreman on layout daily
