Jetson is seeking individuals with extensive residential electrical installation experience in Colorado Springs, CO, to join their mission of accelerating home electrification. The role involves improving processes and procedures for high-quality and efficient installations, including removing gas furnaces, installing electric heat pump systems, and collaborating with engineering teams on product and process improvements. Requirements

• Extensive residential retrofit experience required
• Journeyman/Licensed electrician license or Wireman License
• Well versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgrades
• Well versed in modern residential electrical building codes
• Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Valid driver's license
• Follows OSHA Electrical Standard
• Follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard

Responsibilities

• Install required electrical to support heat pump installs
• Calculate electrical loads
• Upgrade main electrical panels as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency
