About The Position

Astrion is hiring a Journeyman Network Analyst to support the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/HNJ) at Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts. The role focuses on advanced technology solutions for warfighter needs, including electronic and cyber warfare. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire and successful background screening for SAP.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with SAP background screening.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems.
At least five years of experience.
Knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the relevant technical or professional discipline.
Ability to work independently and apply appropriate procedures and processes in the area of expertise.
Ability to coordinate and evaluate functional specialists’ efforts and develop or adjust plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

Analyze and recommend network requirements.
Recommend and maintain network architecture and infrastructure.
Analyze network workload.
Monitor network capacity and performance.
Diagnose and resolve network problems.
Recommend network backup and recovery procedures.
Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software.
Ensure rigorous application of information security and cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in delivering network services.
Solve problems and troubleshoot situations to develop successful outcomes within established program and project guidelines.
Coordinate and evaluate functional specialists’ efforts to identify requirements and develop or adjust plans and schedules to meet each requirement on time.
Perform other duties as required.
