About The Position

INTECON is seeking Journeyman Mission Analysts to support the U.S. Air Force A33B Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program by conducting mission analysis, critical asset identification, and dependency mapping to enhance Air Force mission assurance capabilities within a Pentagon SCIF environment.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with caveats. U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution
  • 3-10 years of experience in mission analysis, operational analysis, or related defense/intelligence analytical work
  • Experience supporting DoD or Air Force mission assurance, critical infrastructure protection, or risk management programs
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior leaders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Air Force mission assurance frameworks or critical asset identification methodologies
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry or similar data analytics platforms
  • Prior experience working in SCIF environments
  • Knowledge of DoD risk management frameworks and governance processes
  • Experience with MAJCOM or HAF-level staff support

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mission decomposition and analysis to identify critical assets, dependencies, and vulnerabilities supporting Air Force mission assurance objectives
  • Perform mission thread analysis and map dependencies across weapon systems, infrastructure, and supporting functions
  • Develop and maintain mission dependency databases and analytical products
  • Support critical asset identification processes using established DoD and Air Force methodologies
  • Prepare analytical briefings and written products for senior Air Force leadership
  • Collaborate with government personnel and other contractors to integrate mission analysis findings into broader risk management frameworks
  • Support data collection, validation, and quality assurance for mission assurance assessments
  • Participate in working groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and governance forums as required
