About The Position

The Maintenance Journeyman will perform a variety of tasks to install, repair, and maintain all manufacturing equipment and the buildings while maintaining Lozier’s quality and safety standards. The Journeyman will provide direction and guidance to the trainees and apprentices. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn for this position.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of multi-craft experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required.
• Must possess a good attendance record.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Experience in performing electromechanical repairs, welding, hydraulic troubleshooting and blueprint reading.
• Experience in pneumatics, relay logic and PLC’s.

Nice To Haves

• A two-year technical degree and/or industrial electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with pneumatics, relay logic and PLC’s.
• Operate a variety of hand and powered tools including, but not limited to, surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools.
• Provide direction and guidance to trainees and apprentices.
