About The Position
ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a Journeyman HVAC to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. This role involves building modular units from rough-in through to finishing, assisting in the installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures, and installing bard units, furnaces, duct work, and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning units (P-TAC). The position requires reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, and specifications to determine layouts, troubleshooting and testing all HVAC units and fixtures in modular units, performing quality inspections, and using hand and power tools while following all safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Registered Journeyman HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Build of modular units from rough in through to finishing
