Louis Ptak Construction is seeking several Journeyman Finish Carpenters for our Subcontracting team with job sites in or around San Francisco.

Requirements

10+ years of finish carpentry experience
5+ years of high-end residential experience (must be able to provide 3 references)
Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.
Great attention to detail
Shows a strong work ethic
Committed to Safety

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality carpentry installations, including framing, millwork (casing, baseboard, crown molding, wall, and ceiling paneling), doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
Ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, sketches, RFI’s, and Submittals.
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and project deadlines.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site carpentry issues.
Mentor and develop junior carpenters and apprentices
