About The Position

This position is contingent upon Contract Award. Job specifications are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees. Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. The Journeyman Engineer will work directly with the Government personnel in meeting the engineer needs of the project.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience dealing with the design, engineering, test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Solid foundation in the principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of T&E methodologies and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to use test equipment and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills, essential for success in a T&E team environment.
  • Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems within the T&E process.
  • BS Degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must have acceptable reference and background check results.

Nice To Haves

  • Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience.
  • Experience with specific weapons systems or T&E programs.
