About The Position
HiFyve is hiring a Certified Journeyman Electrician in the Heavy Manufacturing industry in Shelby, OH. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment, installing and maintaining electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLCs, reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment installations and upgrades while adhering to plant safety and Arc Flash procedures.
Requirements
- State Certified Journeyman Electrician
- Completion of a state-approved 4-year Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment
- Install and maintain electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLCs
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Support equipment installations and upgrades
- Follow plant safety and Arc Flash procedures
