About The Position

Pointer Electric LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team in Gilbert, AZ. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for the successful execution of residential and commercial electrical projects, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining safe, organized job sites.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of electrical experience
• Strong background in both residential and commercial work
• Completed apprenticeship strongly preferred
• Comfortable leading projects without needing hands-on training
• Natural leadership qualities or prior leadership experience
• High integrity, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship
• Self-starter who is motivated by growth and ownership
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle required
• High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• 5 to 10 years of electrical experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial electrical projects from start to finish
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications independently
• Interact directly with homeowners, clients, and general contractors
• Mentor and guide apprentices; help develop the next generation of electricians
• Ensure clean, safe, organized, and code-compliant job sites
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and solve problems efficiently
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and punctuality
