About The Position

We construct, renovate, and install nearly every electrical system component related to data center construction, facilities maintenance, electrical systems upgrades, and virtually anything else required to keep facilities running on the cutting edge of efficiency and technology. Morley Moss is hiring for the role of Journeyman Electrician in Dallas, TX. Safety is first and foremost. This position will coordinate with Foreman; procure resources, material, tools and documents required for the assigned project. Utilize the most cost effective and efficient means available to produce a safe and profitable project. Everything you say and do reflects the values of each member of the Morley Moss family. Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision, possesses journeyman license, can read blueprints, terminate cable, install and trouble shoot control wiring from drawings, is able to demonstrate experience factors exceeding an electrical helper, and must be sufficient on rough-in work. Requirements

5 years of JATC training or Equivalent Training
Have a minimum of an active JIW license in the state of Oklahoma
Meet all established criteria
Able to effectively read and communicate in English.
Positively identify colors of wires.
Comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics
Bend conduit by hand with hand benders.
Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches.
Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
Operate equipment such as trenchers, backhoe, and lift trucks in a safe manner.
Practices and comprehends safe work procedures as outlined in M.M. Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy.
Hand/Eye Coordination: Required for various tasks like working with tools and installing wiring.
Specific Vision Abilities: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
Hearing: The ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound, including audible alarms.
