About The Position

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Commercial Journeyman Electrician in Madison, Wisconsin. This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship. The role involves performing a variety of electrical work in support of customer project specifications, supervising and training other electrical workers, and planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Requirements

6 or more years recent electrical experience
Current Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician license
Knowledge of NEC and Electrical Theory
Experience reading construction drawings and blueprints
OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

70E NFP Certification or related awareness training
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
