We are seeking a Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our Residential & Light Commercial Service team. This role focuses on customer-facing service work, not new construction or production wiring, with no after-hours or emergency calls. It offers steady work, respect for your skillset, and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- Clean driving record; must pass drug & background checks
- Residential and/or light commercial service experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your workflow
- Basic comfort with mobile technology and computers
- Ability to lift 55 lbs and follow all safety protocols
Nice To Haves
- Become a certified installer for Tesla, Generac, ChargePoint, SPAN, and other industry-leading manufacturers.
- As we grow, you’ll have the chance to move into lead tech, service manager, or estimator roles or explore other paths within the company.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair outlets, lighting, panels, wiring, breakers, generators, and more
- Perform service upgrades
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and NEC-compliant drawings
- Diagnose electrical issues using modern tools
- Handle scheduled residential and commercial service calls
- Communicate solutions and findings clearly to customers
- Provide high-quality, professional service
- Support and mentor apprentices
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and project managers
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
- Follow NEC, OSHA, PPE, and lockout/tagout protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and material tracking
- Keep a clean and safe job site
