About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician with strong industrial or utility experience to support electrical operations at a water treatment plant. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems that support water production, treatment, and distribution. The ideal candidate is a skilled, safety-focused electrician who is comfortable working with industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, pumps, and plant infrastructure in a regulated environment.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
Valid Driver's License
Proven experience in industrial, utility, municipal, or plant-based electrical work
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities
Exposure to industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, or SCADA-related electrical systems
Experience working in regulated or safety-sensitive environments

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Collaborate with apprentices, contractors, and other trades to complete projects
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
