About The Position

Cedar Park Group is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians for active construction projects in Ithaca, NY and Binghamton, NY . This role is ideal for journeyman-level electricians with strong commercial field experience who can work independently, follow plans and specifications, and support project teams in completing electrical installations safely and efficiently. Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Overview The Commercial Electrician will perform electrical installation, wiring, conduit work, and equipment connections on commercial construction sites. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to travel within approximately 45 minutes of Ithaca and Binghamton University job sites .

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of solid commercial electrical experience
Journeyman-level skillset required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans
Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and device installation
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites within a 45-minute radius
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Install electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and related components on commercial projects
Pull wire and complete terminations and equipment connections
Install electrical devices such as panels, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
Follow project plans, specifications, and electrical codes
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
Perform basic troubleshooting and support electrical system testing as needed
