About The Position

Texas Trades is seeking licensed journeyman electricians for an airport project in Houston. This full-time position offers competitive pay and the opportunity for overtime in a safe and supportive work environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in large commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
Proven experience in electrical conduit installation, blueprint reading, motor controls, pulling conductors, and terminating conductors.
Proof of experience and hours worked in electrical construction.
Proof of apprenticeship training or other applicable trade-related training.
Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen and physical examination.
Ability to show hours worked and provide work history.
Must be local to the Houston, TX area (no travelers).
Applicants will be interviewed and tested to assess competency in the trade.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent communication skills and work ethic.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain electrical conduit systems and equipment in large airport setting.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Install, terminate, and test electrical conductors.
Install and troubleshoot motor controls and related equipment.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local and national electrical codes.
Perform electrical work efficiently and safely, maintaining a high level of quality.
Work with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
