About The Position
Schmidt Electric is hiring a Journeyman Electrician for projects that may include underground electrical installation, power distribution, rough-in, and trim-out. The electrician is expected to work safely, follow electrical codes, and deliver quality workmanship. Available positions and classifications depend on the applicant’s experience, licensing, skills evaluation, and contractor needs. An IBEW Local 520 recruiter will discuss the applicant’s experience, available opportunities, and next steps.
Requirements
- Hold an active Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman Electrician license.
- Provide proof of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reside in Central Texas.
- Have experience in electrical installation.
