About The Position

Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through cleaning and general maintenance under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various electrical systems. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high quality, cost effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction. This role involves communicating and collaborating with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost-effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services. The individual will perform comprehensive electrical maintenance including the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of conduit, junction boxes, and fixtures of lighting, power, and other electrical systems, according to specifications and electrical codes. This includes measuring, cutting, and installing conduit, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools, and documenting procedures and work completed accurately. The position also requires ensuring proper care, maintenance, and safe use of equipment and supplies, keeping work areas orderly, clean, and safe. Electrical construction work, including layout, demolition, and construction of all types of electrical systems, is also part of the role, ensuring all services comply with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements. The Journeyman Electrician plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as a resource related to electrical systems. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan
• LIC-Electrical Grand Rapids - STATE_MI State of Michigan

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all electrical services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
• Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to electrical systems.
