Requirements

  • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • Journeyperson Electrician certificate.
  • Positive, team orientated attitude.
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to work night-shift from time to time.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous construction industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience in shallow utility installation is an asset.
  • Experience with radial boom derrick (RBD)/digger derrick and other heavy equipment is preferred.
  • 1, 2, 3, or 4-year electrical apprentices will be considered. Progress/proof of program completion will be required. Apprentice applicants should have a strong interest in advancing technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification is preferred.
  • Occupational First Aid (OFA) levels I, II and/or III is preferred.
  • Fall protection certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Travel may be required or as needed.
