Requirements
- Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License required
- Low-voltage electrical experience required
- Experience wiring heating and cooling equipment required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
- Experience with older residential wiring ("snake wiring") preferred
- Generac certification or generator experience preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC controls, controls, relays, and zone boards preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with homeowners by actively listening, understanding their needs, and providing excellent customer service
- Install and run new electrical feeds, primarily low-voltage wiring for HVAC equipment
- Perform electrical panel upgrades and service upgrades
- Install and support wiring for heating and cooling equipment
- Conduct site visits to evaluate electrical requirements and project needs
- Maintain accurate and complete material and stock lists
- Install, troubleshoot, and support Generac systems (experience preferred)
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
