About The Position

Journeyman Electrician Wheco Controls, an Azuria Water Solutions Company | Water & Wastewater Infrastructure | $32–$42/hr DOE WHY THIS ROLE Water and wastewater infrastructure isn't going anywhere. At Wheco Controls, you'll work on essential systems that communities depend on — MCC installations, VFD wiring, control panels, and conduit runs for water treatment and wastewater facilities across the region. Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
Experience with MCCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems
Solid NEC knowledge and safe work practices
PLC familiarity a plus
Valid driver's license with clean record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Lead installation of MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and power wiring
Measure, cut, bend, and install EMT conduit — proficiently and efficiently
Pull wire, make terminations, set panels, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings
Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards
Mentor and lead small field crews as needed
